Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.


Author Guidelines

Important dates.

  • The online submission system will be opened May, 23, 2018.
  • Deadline of Call for Papers / all proposals due: September 2, 2018, (23:59 CEST), extended until September 9, 2018!
  • Notification of acceptance for all proposals: September 23, 2018
  • Final version of full papers due: November 11, 2018

For Full papers and Communications / Short Papers, a draft suitable for review must be submitted by the deadline of the CfP (September 2, 2018) extended until September 9, 2018!.
The paper reviews will be sent to the authors by October 14, 2018.
The final version of accepted papers (addressing the review comments) will be due on November 11, 2018.

  • Full papers (a suggested 8-12 pages plus appendices) and Communications (a suggested 4-6 pages plus appendices) must follow the rules of IASSIST Quarterly. For formatting, see the IQ Word template.
  • Please pay attention to the details in the template and submit your contribution in Microsoft Word document file format (or RTF or OpenOffice) and PDF format.
  • Accepted papers have to be submitted in Microsoft Word document file format (or RTF or OpenOffice) and PDF format.



Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  2. We recommend using a Creative Commons license for the presentation. Such a license allows us putting a copy of the presentation to a public repository like Zenodo.
    See a selected list of EDDI17 presentations in this repository, and an example on adding the license and mentioning exceptions.
    Suggested license is "Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)".
  3. I consent to the inclusion of my name and affiliation in the conference program.

Authors who submit to this conference agree to the following terms:
